Why Stage Your Home?

Staging your home is way more valuable than taking a price reduction and allows for a quick and lucrative sale. Having your home stay on the market for too long is extremely stressful and will end up costing you more money.

As a rule, the longer your home sits on the market, the less interested buyers become, and the more interested agents become in a price reduction. Buyers assume that when houses sit on the market, there must be something wrong with it and they feel no urgency to make an offer. Your best chance to get top dollar for your home is in the first weeks of being on the market. We can help you do that!
How much does a Staging Consultation Cost?

At Francesca Interiors we will first come into your home, chat with you and discus how are services operate and decide whether you wand carefully looking around taking mental note on your lifestyle, your family, your tastes, colours etc. We will then take another walk through and carefully check decide what changes will get you the best return on your home investment. Once we leave, you will be left with clear suggestions on what needs to be done.

At the end of the consultation it will become clearer to you as to whether you want to tackle the Home Staging or have us do it for you. We charge $500.00 for up to two hours of a consultation and $125.00/hour for anything over 2 hours. Consultations can take anywhere from 1 – 4 hours depending on your home. As your Home Stagers, we specialize in objectively seeing your home through the eyes of potential buyers. We will tour your home and carefully decide We will leave you with clear suggestions that once carried out will make your home stand out in the market and get you the quick and lucrative sale you are after. Consultations generally take 1 to 3 hours.

What do I do if my Home is Already Listed and Not Selling?

If your home was staged by someone else, or your home is on the market and is not selling for whatever reason, we can help. No need to worry! This is where we come in. We will objectively have a look at your home and then offer suggestions on what needs to be done, added or removed. It will then be up to you to decide whether you want to do the changes yourself or have us come back and do them for you. Although you are looking at another consultation, keep in mind that staging often costs less than the first price reduction, and adds real value to your home.

Why Stage a Vacant Home?

Staging a vacant home is ALWAYS a good idea! An empty house comes across as uninviting and down right cold. We can turn that around. Starting with a consultation, a budget and a plan we will bring in furniture and accessories to create a warm and inviting look.

Over 90% of people cannot imagine what a house could look like with furniture in it and they have nothing to compare their own furnishings to in an empty space. It is a well known fact that rooms look smaller empty than properly furnished. With nothing to focus on except the bare space, the negatives will become more apparent to prospective buyers.
