2016 Pantone Color of the Year Mimics the 80’s

2016 Pantone Color(s) of the Year Mimics the 80’s

For the first time ever the design world has been gifted with not one but two colors of Pantone Color of the Year 2016.  Rose Quartz and Serenity.  When I saw the 2016 Pantone Color of the Year (which is not a single color but two colors in harmony), I was quite pleased!  Why?  Because when was the last time you saw dusty pink (Rose Quartz) and pale blue (Serenity) together?  Yep, you guessed it…the 80’s!  Just goes to show you that styles and colors always seem to find a way to come back.

The two colors are meant to symbolize a societal movement and a “unilateral approach toward gender equality and fluidity.”

I had to add this  bedroom in. Look how adorable it is. I love this IT! Pink is always in style for girls no matter what age you are in my opinion! Perfect for this year’s color and style trends.
